Provide services of production database support, including the following activities:
? Support of application teams with database requests – data migration, database security, schema maintenance, etc
? Monthly and weekly data loads with various database tools
? Database jobs and space monitoring
? Resolving database related application performance issues
? Involvement in application and database DR activities
? Data model design
? Implementation and System rollout support
? Solving ad-hoc application issues related to database
Qualifications:
? Computer Science or related degree
? Demonstrated problem solving, resolution and performance monitoring skills.
? Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.Flexible approach to working across multiple teams, and willingness to rotate between teams and activities. Must have a positive attitude with a ‘can do’ approach to both day to day support and challenging new tasks. Must have a strong Customer focus.
? Excellent English skills in writing & reading, strong English in oral communication, CET6
? Minimum 3 years working experience as a DBA in Oracle on UNIX platform with a total working experience around 5 yrs.
