SRDF 的 英文文档实在看不明白，求助！

正在看SRDF的Foundation,有些句子实在是纠结啊，麻烦哪位大大帮我看看，这一句话到底啥意思？
SRDF/ARtakes periodic point in time copies of the original data on disk and propagates the data at a later point in time. This mode of delayed replication requires less network bandwidth and saves transmission costs at the expense of having the target lag the source by a few hours.

SRDF/AR 周期性记录磁盘原始数据时间点拷贝并且在晚一些时间点传送数据这种延时复制模式占用较小的网络带宽并在目标端和源端有数个小时滞后时节省传输成本。 擦不会翻译了》。。。。。

在某些情况下异步复制的优势？不过偶觉得，就算看懂了也没啥用处。:mrgreen:
