谁能解释一下branch hints的内容？

手册上说
Branch hints:
   o 2EH Branch not taken (used only with Jcc instructions).
   o 3EH Branch taken (used only with Jcc instructions).

是什么意思呢？是不进行预测还是不使用预测的结果？

当进行分支预测时，如果hint为
2EH，则不执行分支跳转
3EH，则执行分支跳转
