Michael W Lucas 大神現在公開徵用英文俳句，被選錄的作品，會展示在每章節開頭處，其創作者的名字也會展示在 absolute OpenBSD 第 2 版書中，亦會免費獲行新書電子版乙份 (或有可能送印刷版)。

俳句必需用英文寫，其內容必需與 absolute OpenBSD 第 2 版章節有關聯。以下是 absolute OpenBSD 第 2 版的章節：

評審只有 Michael W Lucas 大神他自己，參加方法有兩種：
1. 直接在 http://blather.michaelwlucas.com/archives/1452寫下作品，你的名字和你的電郵地址
2. email 到 mwlucas@blackhelicopters.org 主題寫上 "ao2e haiku"

截止時間大約 Michael W Lucas 大神完成整本書初稿時，他說大約是 2012 年 11 月中。
