informix 初始化问题

unable to create the finmdbs dbspace. create this dbspace using informix server administrator or the onspaces utility
我是在windows xp 专业版下安装的，“finmdbs”是数据存储空间的名字。不知道哪里出错了。请各位大虾帮忙！
我在2000下安装时，就不会出现这个问题，是不是xp不能装ibm informix 9.4?

怎麽操作的？具體頗受步驟~

1.把系统分区转换成NTFS格式（数据库安装在系统分区）
2 保持网络连接
3 安装IBM INFORMIX 9.4 ，目录为：c:\informix;
   只安装 IBM informix Dynamic Server 和 IBM informix-Connect 2.81.TC1;
   选择：custom安装方式，在Role Sepatation 界面直接单击“下一步”
User Name 和 Password 都是 informix ;
   复制文件;
   设置数据库号为0;
   设置数据库名;
   设置服务名称turbo ,端口号1526;
   设置应用数据库空间名DbSpace Name : finmdbs;
   修改存储位置为C分区，不使用文件镜象，其他默认;
   sbspace设置默认不变;
   修改SBSpace Storage Location 存储位置为C 分区，不使用文件镜象，其他默认;
   确认数据库服务器名，单击完成.
   开始初始化数据库。
4 初始化数据库进行一半后就出现提示出错了
