2nd level technical support to IBM Greater China Group(China Mainland, Hongkong, Taiwan) customer;
Lab based daily operation to handle the difficult technical issues escalation from GCG, in rare situation, need provide onsite support in GCG;
Support the whole product line of IBM System x, PWS, Option, Storage, System management products;
Isolate the problem in a complexed environment, which including Windows/Linux/Novel, SQL/Oracle, HA/Cluster, Networking and all kinds of miscellaneous applications;
Technical escalation to WW L3 support team for issues can not resolved locally, drive the solution given through written and telephone conference;
Failure Analyses and provide FA report;
Critical situation management to achieve customer satisfaction.
Job Requirement:
Must be very familiar with Linux/Windows OS, Networking, Server Technology;
CCNA, CCNP, RHCE, MCSE/MCDBA etc is preferred;
IT related bachelor or above is required
Ability to manage multiple/complex task under pressure;
Logical thinking and well time management skill;
Good command of presentation/communication/negotiation skills across other functional team.
Good oral and writen English
Ability to work independently and high sense of responsibility.
