570的机器,oslevel  5300-05-06 升级到5300-08-02-0822失败

路径不正确

不会吧.
我的升级包都放在/jingyou/fix/目录下.
但是,/jingyou/fix/目录下并没有bos.rte.install.5.3.0.61.bff文件.

包应该没有什么问题,我本来是想打IY91677的包的但是打不上.
instfix: There are no filesets on the media for IY91677.

后面就想升级操作系统了,但是也升级不了.郁闷.

我师傅说他的操作系统有一点混乱,oslevel 5300-05-06
但是从smit.log里可以看到包基本上都是5300-06的

如果我从别的目录copy一个bos.rte.install.5.3.0.61.bff文件过来行吗?

you'd better download the whole 5300-08-02-0822 fileset which contains the Technology Level 5300-08-00-0818 from IBM web page.

If your 5300-08-02-0822 is noly service pack which without include Technology Level 5300-08 ,
the system updation will be failure,
as your system is only 5300-05-06 .

客户好像原来打过一次补丁,后面又安装了一些包又降下来了.
而且里面有很多包是apply状态的,
想问下在#smit update_all之前要把apply状态的包commit吗?

不知道上网上下载bos.rte.install.5.3.0.61.bff包能不能直接升级?
我现在这个包的状态是 bos.rte.install 5.3.0.56 A F LPP Install Commands

你下载的补丁包多大，应该至少1.8G以上！

检查包是否下在正确和完整；
把.toc文件干掉，重新inutoc . ;
smitty update_all;
另外注意如你这个情况我的建议是先升级到TL8，然后再升级到TL8-SP2。我这里做了n台没有遇到你说的这种问题。
