Minimum:
• Solid English reading and writing skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming
• Experience on large data volume ETL process or data migration is a big plus
• Proficiency in SQL*Plus and/or other query tools such as Toad.Proven track record of successfully delivering high volume and high availability transactional applications under tight time constraints.
• Ability to lead code reviews and technical design meetings.
• Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle, methodologies and tools - including code reviews and version control software such as CVS.
Preferred:
• Good English speaking skills is a big plus.
• Experience with e-commerce or other order and payment processing systems.
• Experience with 24/7 applications.
Experience:
Minimum:
• 5 years team-oriented development experience in a relational database environment required
• 3 years solid Oracle PL/SQL industry development experience(internship does not count)
• Experience designing and developing software in distributed architecture and multi-tier application environments.
• Experience with software performance testing, tuning and load testing
Preferred:
• Experience with unit test frameworks such as DBunit
• Experience with Linux operating systems preferred
• Familiarity with Unix shell scripting preferred
• Working knowledge or familiarity with other database preferred
• Experience with structured Software Development Life Cycle methodology preferred
• Experience with ecommerce systems and primarily payment transactions and providers is a big plus.
Education, Certification, and/or Training:
Minimum:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or computing related discipline.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or computing related discipline.
