JD_Engineer:
Responsible for providing remote post-sales support of hardware systems, sub-systems and/or applications for customers or field personnel utilizing telephone and remote diagnostic capabilities. Supports more complex end-user installations, configurations, upgrades and migrations through problem isolation, verification, resolution and documentation. This is a post-sales remote support position. Skills required include SIP, Networking, LAN’s, wireless hardware and data. Experience using, administrating and troubleshooting Avaya PDS (Dialer) systems are a plus. Requires exercise of independent judgment and discretion, while working with minimal supervision. Provides solutions to a diverse range of moderately complex problems. Strong technical writing skills are necessary to perform job duties. Professional certifications are desired, i.e. MCSE, Avaya Certification, etc.
Responsible for providing, pre-sales and post-sales, remote engineering support of hardware systems, Linux operating systems, IP Networking (including devices), and applications for Avaya customers, service center/field service team members, and Business Partners. This position is for the candidate that shows a high aptitude for technical leadership. Work is performed with direction of Senior Solution Engineer and reviewed by senior management. This position requires exercise of independent judgment, discretion, and customer relationship management for service delivery success. It provides solutions to a diverse range of complex, integrated IP Converged PBX issues.
