1st, the technical background.
2nd, the educational qualification and the Breadth of knowledge.
3rd, the essential character of the leader.
4th, the management ability.
5th, the interpersonal relationship.

What did you mean? you want to make yourself look more professinal in the field you were in, or you want to become an expert in some kind of field?
the requirements you mentioned above are the points of being an excellent employe in IT company.But I do think they won't make you look more professinal or make you become an expert. As my opinion, the important thing you should do is do what you like with all of your heart if you want to look more professinal.And the only thing you can do is devote yourself into the field you were in if you want to become an excellent expert.
