he Data Protector bootstrap service was successfully installed on the remote client
but it could not be started. The Windows NT system error should tell more about
the problem.
Most probable cause for this is that the Installation Server is not available
or that the OmniBack share on the Installation Server is not accessible or it does not exist.
Also make sure that the installservice.exe file exists on that share.
* Make sure that the Installation Server is available and visible on the network.
* If the OmniBack share on the Installation Server does not exist, reinstall the Installation Server.
* If installservice.exe is not at the proper location on the Installation Server, reinstall the Installation Server.
To check that the OmniBack share on the Installation Server exists, and that the appropriate executable
can be accessed, go to the client system you want to install and run:
dir \\<IS_computer>\OmniBack\i386\installservice.exe
from the MS-DOS prompt.
