Position Responsibilities:
The IT infrastructure specialist will be responsible to manage and deliver the daily tasks together with global projects for the particular organizational units.
The initiatives under this delivery center cover the full spectrum of infrastructure technology work. Examples of current initiatives in progress include the following:
- Microsoft Active Directory management
- Windows 2003/2008 server management
- Linux/Unix server management
- HPUX server management
- VMware ESX management
- Storage management
Position Requirements:
• Should have 3+ years of strong hand-on experience in IT Infrastructure Management / IT Service Delivery
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in which 3 years’ experience in supporting Directory Services area for multiple operating systems
• 1+ year of virtualization administration experience
• 1+ year of project management experience
• Remote support & virtual team experience is highly preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Fluent & professional English communication skills is a MUST
Hand-on experience of HP remote management tool (such as iLO) is highly preferred
Excellent communication skills and the ability to keep multiple stakeholders informed of the task update or project delivery
Be able to understand and adapt the specific work cultures from different locations in the globe especially US
Be able to build effective working relationships with customers from different teams
Be able to articulate and communicate the related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
Experience of working with virtual project team members
Good knowledge about the various IT infrastructure components and processes
Good to know Call logging tools like HP Service Manager, HP Openview, etc.
Expert in Windows OS, especially for 2003+ server families
Expert in storage management, such as EVA, Blade systems, etc
Expert in Microsoft products, such as Active Directory, SMS, MOM, etc
Good experience in other OS, such as Linux, Unix, FreeBSD, Solaris
Good experience in HP-UX platform
