近日，IBM宣布在2011年将大规模招聘Unix工程师，这对于咱们广大的从事Unix系统管理员工作的CUer算不算是一个好消息呢？据了解，特别面向CUer，正式招聘信息预计年后在此正式发布。届时，广大CUer即可通过CU平台提交简历，资质优异者简历将有机会直接推送到IBM公司。

职位描述：

1、Client Technical Specilaist

Job Description：

-Acting as a platform technical consultant to our clients & sales teams
-Identifying/Qualifying opportunities
-Assuring the technical feasibility of proposed solutions
-Removing technical inhibitors to the sale of IBM products, solutions and services
-Driving proper planning and ensuring client readiness as well as making smooth hand-offs to service providers to ensure successful implementation.

The Client Tech Specialist accomplishes this by developing sufficient understanding of a client’s business and technical environment to design solutions which fulfill client business needs.

Required Skills：

Professional: Design Solutions for Clients; Apply Knowledge of IBM Infrastructure & Solutions Portfolio; Apply Knowledge on differentiation and competitive advantage of storage products; Manage Client & Channel Satisfaction & Loyalty; Plan Implementation of Solutions & Perform TDAs (Solution Assurance Reviews); Advise on IBM Vision/Mission/Strategy; Perform Negotiations; Use Project Leadership & Communications Skills.

-Detailed storage/server/mainframe technology understanding to promote IBM advantages, with qualifications, such as Education/Major/Certificates in IT field.
- Bachelor degree or higher
- Excellent communication skill, presentation skill
- Quick learner and self-motivated team player
- Have rich customer facing experience
- Good English writing and reading skills.

2、Mainframe IT Specialist

Job Description：

Focus on IBM Mainframe core value proposition and solution design for new account or top banking customer, solving the customer's business problem by architecting and designing, and supporting system z sales to meet customer requirements.

Required Skills：

1) Have good background knowledge of IBM Mainframe
2) Have hands-on skill and experience on any of the following areas
- z/OS and Parallel sysplex system programming
- z/VM and z/Linux
- administration of DB2/CICS/WAS/MQ for z/OS
- IM tools or Netview/Omegmon/TWS ... on mainframe platform
- CICS/DB2/WAS application programming
3) Have advanced knowledge of public/industrial/GB banking/government industry
4) Good teamwork and communication skill is required
5) Good self-learning capability

Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)
- Bachelor or higher, major in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering;
- Excellent communication skill, fluent in both spoken and written English;
- Quick learner and self-motivated team player
- Have rich customer facing experience

3、Power Senior IT Specialist

Job Description：

- Focus on IBM Power System pre-sales technical support
- Support Power System business growth from technical side
- Team with sales to show IBM’s advantage and value on Unix server to customer
- Design Power System based IT infrastructure solution and present to customer
- Support business partners in technical pre-sales, solution design, recommending best practices
- Evangelizing Power system value solutions incorporating the latest and advanced IBM technologies to customer
- Conduct demo and testing to show IBM strength if need

Required Skills：

- Detailed storage technology understanding to promote IBM advantages
Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)
- Bachelor degree or higher
- Excellent communication skill, presentation skill
- Quick learner and self-motivated team player
- Have rich customer facing experience
- Have hands-on skill and experience on Unix system administration
- Familiar with Power System hardware architecture, AIX operation system and system management
- Have knowledge of major application on Power System such as, Oracle, SAP, Websphere
- Familiar with High Availability solution design and implementation on Power System
- Familiar with virtualization solution on Power System
- Some experience on Power System performance tuning and PD/PSI
- Rich experience on solution design on Power System platform.
- Good English writing and reading skills.

<PREFERRED SKILLS, but not Required>
- AIX and POWER know-how
- AIX system performance theory and experience
- MS Windows internal and APIs

<OPTIONAL SKILLS, a plus>
- Weblogic and/or WAS adm, programming and tuning
- Oracle and/or DB2 adm, programming and tuning

4、Storage Senior IT Specialist

Job Description：

- Focus on IBM Storage System product line pre-sales technical support
- Support Storage System business growth from technical side
- Team with sales to show IBM’s advantage and value on storage system to customer
- Design storage related IT infrastructure solution and present to customer
- Support business partners in technical pre-sales, solution design, recommending best practices
- Evangelizing IBM storage system value solutions incorporating the latest and advanced IBM technologies to customer
- Conduct demo and testing to show IBM strength if need

Required Skills：

- Detailed storage technology understanding to promote IBM advantages
Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)
- Bachelor degree or higher
- Excellent communication skill, presentation skill
- Quick learner and self-motivated team player
- Have rich customer facing experience
- Have hands-on skill and experience on enterprise/midrange level storage system administration
- Familiar with IBM storage hardware architecture, storage software and storage system management
- Have knowledge of major storage products in the market
- Familiar with storage HA/DR solution design and implementation
- Familiar with storage virtualization solution
- Some experience on storage system performance tuning and PD/PSI
- Rich experience on storage solution design
- Good English writing and reading skills.
