This position will need to be filled by an experience administration person who has a excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office programs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and has a proven record of understanding and meeting targets in a timely manner. The candidate should be a well organised person with good communication skills in English and one other Asian language (preferably Chinese). Telephone communication skills will be essential.
APJ currently has an ASP partner community that generates an expense line in the order of $30 million (US), the reporting of critical indicators such as financials and operational trends is vital to the ongoing management of these partners. These reports come from multiple data sources and need to be consolidated into concise executive reports through to some more complex operational ones, once designed the ongoing generation of the reports would become the responsibility of this administration function.
The APJ ASN community is forever increasing, and requires a consistent model of reporting and information distribution. In this aspect of the work the candidate shall be expected to follow up directly with the partners on progress against plans that have previously been agreed between the partner Manager and the partners, when partners are not meeting the plans the issues shall be escalated to the relevant partner managers.
Collateral distribution such as contracts, partner guides assessment tools shall become the responsibility of the administration person.
Internal recording and reporting of direct staff activities will be targeted to rest with this function.
Given the volume of partner activities comes from Northern Asia, and cost factors, this position shall be located in Beijing, physically located with the partner Support Centre and reporting to the APJ Director of Global Services Partners.
The introduction of this position would release the local partner Managers from what can be simplex, repetitive and time consuming tasks, allowing them to manage the high growth (and volume) of the commercial and Tier 2 partner programs that are critical to the base growth in all geographies.
Personal attributes
Experience in the administrative tasks in IT service industry, across both the traditional CS and TS business models
Excellent knowledge and use of the Microsoft Office Suite of products
Excellent telephone skills
Experience in data base reporting
Language skills in one Asian language and English.
Six sigma processes would be a distinct advantage as assessing the need for change, and measuring success will be a core requirement
Fundamental business analysis skills would be an advantage
