读了一会光驱后出现：
the file just loaded does not appear to be executable

我的install盘没问题的，前两天在另一台机器还安装过呢。

为什么呢？

这个问题我也见过。。

他说了不是盘的问题了。
是他的机器太旧。。硬盘太大。

才报这个错的。VTOC 不对。。

就像各位大侠所说的那样：要么是光盘太旧，要么是光驱太差。至于硬盘的原因就不大可能了吧？

感谢各位老大的关注，不好意思，晚上不在。

U10机器，原配两个9G的ide硬盘，我新换了一个80G的硬盘,就出现这个问题了。想起来了，原来9G硬盘的时候，大概就是用这张光盘安装的。

如果是硬盘太大，有什么解决的办法？

boot cdrom -s可以启动
boot cdrom -r 启动安装程序，开始安装了。

（为了保险，我有加了一个20G的slave ide硬盘，不知和这个有没有关系。）

选了重新分区，拷贝完mini-root等后重新启动

Rebooting with command:boot /pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/ide@3/disk@0,0:b
Boot device:/pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/ide@3/disk@0,0:a File and args: -F cprboot
Boot load failed.
The file just loaded does not appear to be executable.

好像又回到了原地8－（

原来是两个硬盘接在一根线上，线上有标记master和slaver,两个硬盘的跳线都是cable select.

现在我只想接一个80G硬盘，跳成cable select和master都试过了，结果一样。(不过硬盘上标记有两种跳线分别是16heads和15heads,跳的是16，这个应该没什么关系吧)

probe-ide 显示也正确

猪猪，不见得吧，楼主考虑一下光驱，U10的光驱和普通的IDE光驱可以通用，换一个试试！

找人要了个原版的。。。0202 的。。还是不成。

安装时候起到 OPENWIN 的时候就出那个错。。。

U10的机器，，装SOLARIS 8 支持ST80GB的硬盘吗？
