VMware recommends in certain circumstances to disable LRO: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice ... ;externalId=1027511
However, on RHEL6.2 you cannot toggle lro flag using normal ethtool method:

# ethtool -K eth0 lro off
Cannot set large receive offload settings: Operation not supported
环境

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2 or later.  RHEL6.1 and earlier are not affected.
A VMware-based virtual machine running RHEL6.2 and using the vmxnet3 driver.
决议

Temporarily switch the VM to e1000
Disable LRO at the Host-level:

Under the Host Configuration
         +-Software
            +-Advanced Settings

Mavigate to the Net setting. From there find the various LRO settings.
Disable ---> Net.VMxnet3SwLRO [change the option from 1 to 0]
