- Ensure high availability of our production services;
- Develop and enforce company standards regarding high availability, reliability, performance and so on;
- Support developers in further improving reliability and performance;
- Keep the lab environment as close to production as possible, provide developers a production-like test environment;
- Act as a knowledge base for Linux related questions and problem;
- Architect, Plan and Implement the server and service related aspects of new features and products;
- Support developers in understand bugs and problems that happen in production;
- Creative problem solving for a wide range of problem types;
Required Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Linux;
- Experience with high-concurrency services (Nginx, PHP-FPM, Ejabberd, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Percona MySQL, Memcached, Redis);
- Ability to learn new things fast;
- Skilled in at least one of Python, Perl, Bash or C;
- Good understanding of IP/TCP/UDP and the common application level protocols;
- Ability to work and cooperate with multiple Teams of people with different skill sets and cultures;
Preferred Skills:
- Fluent in Chinese and English;
- Multi-task under pressure and prioritize independently;
- Basic understanding of PHP;
- Willing to relocate in Shanghai.
