Major Responsibilities:
Qualified candidate must have expertise in 3 of the following areas: configuring hardware (system and SAN), installing and configuring OS(Linux ,Solaris) and Symantec software. Executing software test, creating automation, review/contributing to test planning documentation.
Must have experience with Unix(Linux ,Solaris) system level testing. Shell and PERL, or other high level programming languages required. The position requires at least 3 years of experience as a software test engineer, development engineer, technical support engineer, or system administrator.
Position Requirements and Education:
Position will be responsible for performing software integration test on Symantec Server and Storage Management products/suites/solution for Unix platforms (Linux ,Solaris) . The position involves setting up systems installing complete solutions stacks, executing test, and debugging test cases to root cause at or below the product level, following up incidents, developing and automating test cases to cover new features and regression areas.
Critical Success Factors :
