在大型的企业里，可能存在多个不同版本的oracle服务器，因为备份可能会使用rman catalog来完成。这也是oracle推荐的做法！

oracle8i和9i的rman存在很多差别，所以我们就需要在一个catalog数据库里，创建不同的catalog schema。

我的问题是：如何创建不同版本的catalog schema
是不是只要使用不同的rman执行程序使用不同的rman用户连接到rman catalog数据库，就可以创建呢？当然我已经创建了不同rman用户的不同表空间。

create different users and grant them with proper roles (recovery_catalog_owner)
then run catrman.sql or "create catalog", depending on oracle versions.
