我在tru64 unix上安装mysql时出现了问题：
我是按：http://bbs.chinaunix.net/forum/11/040523/331353.html介绍的个方法作的。当我进行到：
scripts/mysql_install_db --user=mysql
这一步时出现：
Neither host 'pxb' nor 'localhost' could not be looked up with
./bin/resolveip
Please configure the 'hostname' command to return a correct hostname.
If you want to solve this at a later stage, restart this script with
the --force option
这是什么原因？请大家帮忙！！！！

可能是你主机名解释问题。

把你的主机名和主机ip加到/etc/hosts文件中试一下。

我的hosts文件的内容为：
172.0.0.1　localhost
192.168.0.1 sy sy #HOSTNAME for Interface tu0
是hosts文件的问题吗？
我应该怎么改呀？？？？？
