标题: SOLARIS文件系统最大限制是多少T,如何解除??
谢谢了!!!比如从OS看出个5T的逻辑盘,在做NEWFS时候会有问题

你自己在网上查一下就行了，这种东西很少有人会注意，而且这么大的文件系统建立的机会也不是很多的
SUN宣称是无限大，在实际操作中我只用过solaris 8的，结果和二楼所述的一致
至于其他的版本，我没有测试过

文件系统好象没限制，但newfs会受到其它的限制，如在SOLARIS 8下无法newfs大于1T的逻辑盘（系统BUG，在SOLARIS 9下已修正）

感兴趣的可以下载有ZFS的solaris express来用用，那才是无限大的感觉。

有了ZFS，什么软raid和veritas之类的都不需要了

solaris9、8都是1T，solaris10新加入的zfs文件系统好像可以大非常多出来了，不过好像还在测试阶段。

不能解除，所有遇到大阵列时只能对其进行分区了。

the maximum size of a ufs file system is limited to
1 Tbyte due to the maximum address space of 32-bits for the device
drivers.
由于存在三元间接指针,本来是可以达到64T的^_^

偶在做一个阵列的时候碰到过8下不能newfs 1T设备的问题，当时在SUN网站上查过资料，明确说此问题在9下已解决

specify that the file system can eventually be grown to a multiterabyte file

density to scale appropriately for a multiterabyte file system.

About Solaris 8, I just had a look of the Sun internal materials where the process creating 1T ufs filesystem was referenced. But i am not sure, maybe some patches to be needed.

1T对于存储来说也就是一个workgroup的级别吧呵呵
