Major Job Duties:
ll Provides technical account support to Sales
l Gives first line technical presentations on BEA products that include product overviews, introductions, and basic feature/functions
l Assists in filling out the technical portions of RFIs/RFPs
l Assist with initial technical discussions to technically qualify opportunities
l Maps high-level business problems to BEA technology solutions with assistance
l Presents standard BEA demos to technical audiences
l Customizes standard demos by changing the look-and-feel
l Fills out the technical portions of RFIs/RFPs with support
Experience:
l Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
Technical Skills:
l Knowledge of both MS Windows and Unix-style operating systems
l Ability to write, compile, and debug J2EE programs
l Ability to write, compile, and debug Web services applications
l Ability to write SQL along with a strong understanding of relational databases
l Ability to understand and create UML and Entity-Relationship diagrams is required
l Tuxedo, TopEnd, or other TP Monitor experience a plus
l Portal, .Net and XML experience is a must
l Integration experience is highly desirable
l Familiar with message oriented middleware concepts and can incorporate them into a technical solution
l Ability to understand EIS/EAI concepts, messaging and data models as part of an overall integration solution
