Three posibilities
1. Hardware problem as rainchild suggested. It could be as simple as the memory chip doesn't sit well. Check your /var/log/messages file for any suspecious messages.
2. BIOS configuration disables certain memory slots or feature
3. Kernels are different. Do a uname -a and cat /etc/redhat-releaseon on all machines and compare the result
