General Summary
The Software Engineer in Test will work with the testing team and the development team to investigate report and track defects and expand our automated test suites.
Essential Functions and Duties
Focusing on creating test plans, setting up test environments, developing automated tests, executing and maintaining automated test suites, and the analysis of the results.
Leading test efforts, and exploring new ways of UI test automation.
Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
Good programming skills in at least one of the following languages: C/C++, Java or Python.
Proficiency/experience in working on Unix/Linux.
Excellent shell scripting skills (AWK, SED).
Good scripting skills in at least one of the following scripting languages: Perl, VB Script, PHP.
SQL is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
Love coding and testing, strong software testing sense, a quick learner, a great team player, and able to work independently
Experience: 4+ years of Testing experience (Internet/Web related applications a plus).
Education: BS in Computer Science. (MS is a plus, counts as experience.)
