I have done a case like that before.

the key point is your data migration.

I don't konw how big are your data .

My situation is the DS4300 contain noly one datavg with 6*146G disks,
and my P550 just  have 6*146 blank disks at the same time. very lucky.

I migrate the data form DS4300 to P550 internal disks first,
after changed the storage to DS4700,
then migrate the data back to the new DS4700.

you'd better check the hacmp configuration.
and synchronize it.
