[SOLARIS] Help about SUN UNIX Environment!

There are two user:
Your default login user A
The new working directory(N_W_D) \'s owner B

A should have x and r attribute of N_W_D. I assume that A and B are not in the same group.
If N_W_D \'s permission is 740. Error message will be:\"cannot execute\"
if N_W_D \'s permission is 744. Error message will be:\"permission denied\"
But I have no idea how can you met \"cannot open\"。
