How is Asterisk in China?

Hello, Friend:
I have been doing asterisk for 2 years. I am not in china currently. I will go back to china soon and continue to do Asterisk and LAMP. I am not sure the asterisk market in China. I believe that VOIP is a new platform for IT people because I have done some projects using Asterisk for my company. I think Asterisk can be implemented in China. Does anyone has experience in going asterisk, please give me a hand!

hi, all, i am a fresh man for Asterisk. Do you guys have any experience of setting up conference calls with usage of Asterisk? Anybody knows TETRA system? Can Asterisk develop the same/similar functions as TETRA system with wireless devices introduced, such as WiFi?

i am making a solution for my customer & hope experts here can give me some useful information.

According to my contacting with customers, i think that helping enterprises to set up their VOIP system is a promising thing. So far, it is better not to cause conflict with Telecom in China, although in the future, Telecom may also need to set up their own VOIP system...

I am very sure that Asterisk is a hot spot in VIOP. we must do it as soon as possible. if we always think there are something that blocks us, and we can not do it. we will be behind other people. if the market is mature in china, it's too late to play it. of course, there are some problems in market. the "problems" are our opportunity.  good luck!

VOIP在中国因为QOS的问题目前在中国并不能广泛应用, 但可以看得到无论网络运营商或国家如何限制都阴挡不了这行业在中国的发展.

Of course, the conference call is created with my asterisk server, per my experience the communication quality is
pretty good if all's bandwidth are good.

However, I don't speak english , it is not my first langiage, I come from Taiwan. That's all.

我觉得现在在国内做voip营运是不好搞的，现在方向应该是企业。
