关于lun扩展

纳闷

仔细想了一下，
在fast上，添加一个硬盘，是加在一个raid中,然后再划成多个逻辑盘，映射到不同的主机上，虽然raid空间增加，逻辑盘的大小并没有改变，
在7133中，是一组同一loop中的pdisk建立一个raid,在主机中对应是一个hdisk,空间变化必须要在hdisk中反映出来才可以用，这个有些吃不准

With Storage Manager 8.x, it is possible to increase the size of the logical drive. This is called
Dynamic Volume Expansion (DVE). The capacity of standard logical drives and FlashCopy
repository logical drives may be increased using one or both of the following capacities:

Free capacity available on the array of the standard or FlashCopy repository logical drive

Unconfigured capacity (in the form of unused drives) on the array of the standard or
FlashCopy repository logical drive
Increasing the capacity of a FlashCopy repository logical drive does not increase the capacity
of the associated FlashCopy logical drive. The FlashCopy logical drive's capacity is always
based on the capacity of the base logical drive at the time the FlashCopy is created.

经查SSA raid确实无法扩展，但是FASTT肯定可以，我都已经试过了，只不过时间太长后来停止重做了，但是不知道操作系统怎么才能认到增加的容量。

纳闷

认到增加的盘不难，可以在fast中通过storage manage 再划一个逻辑盘给主机，6000上做cfgmgr就可以看到新的hdisk,加到vg就可以了
也可以把原来分配给对应主机的盘动态扩展，ibm称支持这一功能，但还没有实际试过

这个俺知道，只不过想知道这个技术问题。

7133不能增加,我试过,不行啊.lun和7133没有什么联系啊.
