I just edit a file with some japanese sentences in a text file and rename it into japanese filename in WinXP, when i copy it into my machine, all of them become unreadable, even i tried to convert them from any of Shift-JIS, or ISO-2022-JP, or eucJP, but ended up in a failure. What on earth the charset used to encode Japanese in WinXP?
Some of the example:
UTF-8: これは本ですか?
eucJP: All Kana is shown right, except all 漢字 and Notation...
Sh-JIS: Completely unreadable...
ISO-2: All is a "?" in a black rectangle...
I guess WinXP use eucJP, but why all Kangi and Notation got in trouble?
