Job Description
Business Unit Description : Global Solution Centre in China is one our fastest growing divisions. Providing an exciting opportunity to be part of world wide enterprise that reaches 64 countries, provides technology solutions to global clients and works on next-generation global delivery system.
Main Responsibilities
Provide services of production database support, including the following activities:
• Support of application teams with database requests
• Monthly and weekly data loads with various database tools
• Database jobs and space monitoring
• Resolving database related application performance issues
• Involvement in application and database DR activities
• Data model design
• Implementation and System rollout support
• Solving ad-hoc application issues related to database
Requirements
• Computer Science or related degree
• Demonstrated problem solving, resolution and performance monitoring skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team player. Flexible approach to working across multiple teams, and willingness to rotate between teams and activities. Must have a positive attitude with a ‘can do’ approach to both day to day support and challenging new tasks. Must have a strong Customer focus.
• Excellent English skills in writing & reading, strong English in oral communication, CET6
• Minimum 3 years working experience as a DBA in Oracle on UNIX platform.
• Excellent knowledge in SQL is required.
• Working experience on application DBA tasks.
• Production support experience is a plus.
• Working in US time zone is required
