Project Leader

Introduction/Backgroud

TTED stands for Tivoli Technical Enablement Development team which is a training development organization under Tivoli Education responsible for course development of technical training for internal IBMers, customers, and business partners. TTE is around 80 strong and has team members all of the world including all time zones of the United States, the Netherlands, Brazil, the UK, and now China.

ITM (IBM Tivoli Monitoring) project is a sub-project of the TTED Beijing, this project utilize the ITM software to monitor the IBM internal machines, systems, databases and so on for a better control of the resources.

Responsibilities
1.        Take part of the responsibilities of the project management and engagement in the whole project cycle;
2.        Execute against the System Management Process;
3.        Manage cross projects on System Monitoring/ Network and Security/ IT infrastructure/ troubleshooting with solid delivery experiences.
4.        Have a good manner to report to seniors/clients verbally or by creating meaningful reports.

Qualifications
1.        Leadership and creative problem solving;
2.        Crisis/ Conflict handling skill;
3.        Wide experience background for IT projects;
4.        At least 1-2 years I/T service delivery project management experiences with proven record in various projects implementation;
5.        Capability in managing multiple concurrent projects.
6.        Software Engineer BS in Computer Science or related discipline
7.        Be able to learn new knowledge quickly
8.        Good written and verbal English communication skills
9.        CET 6 is a must
10.        Fluent in spoken English is a must
11.        2-3 years working experience in s/w development or testing
12.        2 years experience with UNIX or Linux
13.        Knowledge of Network
14.        Knowledge of Database, 2 years experience with SQL
