1. Senior Software Engineer(Email Security) – Linux/C/C++

Job Summary:

Design and development Websense next-generation email security product.

Essential Functions:
Design and develop next-generation email security product.
Work with other teams to define system architecture, analyze system and functional requirements, and design and develop functional modules.
Review design documents, code and test plans.
Work with cross-functioning teams within the company to deliver high quality products.
Trouble shoot, identify, and improve product quality from QA testing or customer feedbacks.
Qualifications:
5+ years of software development experience in Unix/Linux environment.
Solid experience in C/C++, TCP/IP networking, Unix system APIs, multi-process and/or multi-thread, and application level programming.
Experience in developing email security products or network security products is an asset.
Web server and web GUI design experience is also an asset.
Experience with data stream analysis and processing, better if mastering regular-expression.
Database development experience using MySQL, Oracle or other databases.
Good team player and excellent communication skill. Good English communication skill is an asset.
Strong problem solving and trouble-shooting ability.


2. Software Development Manager(Email Security) – Linux/C/C++

Job Summary:

Lead a team of software engineers in the development of Websense next-generation email security product.

Essential Functions:
Lead a team to develop next-generation email security product.
Work with other teams to define system architecture, analyze system and functional requirements, and design and develop functional modules.
Review design documents, code and test plans.
Work with cross-functioning teams within the company to deliver high quality products.
Trouble shoot, identify, and improve product quality from QA testing or customer feedbacks.
Qualifications:
5+ years of software development experience in Unix/Linux environment. Minimum 2+ years of development team management experience.
Solid experience in C/C++, TCP/IP networking, Unix system APIs, multi-process and/or multi-thread, and application level programming.
Experience in developing email security products or network security products is an asset.
Web server and Web GUI design experience is also an asset.
Database development experience in MySQL,  Oracle or other databases.
Good team player and excellent communication and people management skill. Good English communication skill is asset.
