How to verify file integrality ?

I  copy(dd bs=32k)  files (each file <=800G ,total 1.8T) from  filesystem to /dev/rmt1 .May I use command csum  to verify the integrality of the files exist on the tape?
If can not ,which command I should choose?

我自己回：
在同team 一资深同事建议下用命令:
#dd if=/dev/rmt0 count=xxxx bs=32k |csum -
此命令给出的校验码与在磁盘上生成的不相同。
结论：只有重新dd 复制到硬盘上后，通过csum 生成的文件才能完成校验。
