va7110换盘后显示The array is BALANCING,正常吗? [复制链接]

va7110换盘后,存储的右上角的告警灯消失,所有状态灯均正常,查看armdsp 显示The array is BALANCING,等了1个多小时还是同样显示,查看armrbld却没有发现做rebuild,按理说换盘后应该会做rebuild的,是吗?

信息显示如下:

刚刚找到了半个答案,估计要等36-72小时后,系统才能显示正常..
After replacing the disk, it will start spreading the data to the new disk. This will take time depends on your array size (3.2TB array having 1.6TB RG with 230GB configured for redundancy space will normally take 36-72 hours for rebuilding the data to new hdd).

During this time array status will be in "Balancing mode".

现在就是区别不清楚两者的概念...rebuild意思是所有硬盘做同步,但balance的意思是什么?(直译是平衡)

我在想他会不会做完balance后再进行rebuild...现在不在客户现场.所以只有等过两天再去现场看了..

需要搞清楚先后顺序:
1,坏盘了,系统先rebuilding;
2,等rebuilding完成;
3,换盘后,系统自动balance;
4,有时候系统较忙,可能会等n小时。

大家好,真巧!

我刚刚换了块VA7110盘,跟你的情况一样,只是我是从VA7110 VFP收集相关的信息的,
在我换硬之前,VA在做rebulding,等我更换的时候,已完成,

另外,我的VA7110现在在单控在跑在,主机和oracle正常,应用也正常,在我用单控跑的时候, 主机上的armdsp -a没反应,不知道现在可不可以armdiscover,请各位高手帮忙出出主意。谢谢了

一般情况下时间都比较长,我有过等两天的记录,不像XP512,只要几个小时就结束
