安装daemontools出错

请教各位大侠：


OS ：Fedora8

SOFT：daemontools.0.76

背景：之前曾经安装过daemontools来协同qmail工作

再次安装的时候出现如下错误提示

[root@mail daemontools-0.76]# package/install
Linking ./src/* into ./compile...
Compiling everything in ./compile...
make: Nothing to be done for `default'.
Copying commands into ./command...
Creating symlink daemontools -> daemontools-0.76...
Making command links in /command...
Making compatibility links in /usr/local/bin...
/service exists. I assume that svscan is already running.

请教如果安装过一次，还有什么问题吗？ 我是Tarball方式安装的，直接删除的目录
查看进程如下：
[root@mail daemontools-0.76]# ps aux |grep svscan
root      3507  0.0  0.1   2628  1060 ?        Ss   10:01   0:00 /bin/sh /command/svscanboot
root      3509  0.0  0.0   1772   344 ?        S    10:01   0:00 svscan /service
root      3697  0.0  0.0   4044   672 pts/0    S+   10:09   0:00 grep svscan

新的错误提示：

./load envdir unix.a byte.a

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [envdir] Error 1

cp: cannot stat `compile/svscan': No such file or directory
