无法进入图形界面的古怪问题！！！！
setting the run level to 5 just causes your system starting X GUI automatically for you everytime you boot up the system. But that should be with a precondition that you have configured your X server correctly. Generally speaking, you can configure your X server with xf86config or xf86cfg, the former one works under text mode by answering questions one by one in this case you have to start over if you have given a wrong answer and would like to change it, and the latter one works under GUI mode (600x480) in this case you can change your choice much easier. You also can use commands system provides which depends on what distribute of linux you are using. So be aware of what kind of hardware, particularly the graphic card, in your PC box.
after you work out the X server configuration, try "startx" and if it works, reboot then the system will run into a GUI for you. enjoy. |
