请教关于无法显示LOGIN:的问题

我的机器启动时显示：
setting hostname note//(note 是我的主机名)

我输入ROOT密码后进入系统，可以使用常用的命令，可以REBOOT,HALT。无法编辑/etc/hosts等文件，提示为只读文件，无法编辑。使用GCC编译文件，提示无法找到命令。请教有什么办法解决。谢谢。

fsck之后exit应该就可以正常启动了。

fsck  1.25 （20－Sep-2001)

No deviced specified to be checked!
然后输入exit后重启。

ALT＋F1－－－－F6无法切换用户。

处在修复状态是不允许编辑文件的，分区处于只读状态
用df看看有哪些分区被挂载
fsck /dev/hdaX(X为数字），修复每个分区，reboot

敲入df显示：

敲入fsck /dev/hda5(其它数字也一样）显示：
fsck 1.25(20-Sep-2001)
e2fsck 1.25(20-Sep-2001)
Couldn't find ext2 superblock,trying backup blocks...
fsck.ext2:Bad magic number in super-block while trying to open  /dev/hda5


the superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2 filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2 filesystem(and not swap or ufs or something else),then the superblock is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock:
e2fsck -b 8193<device>;
