最简单的双机共享存储的建立方法

在测试集群软件的时候，共享存储是必不可少的，但是外部共享存储设备往往非常昂贵，下面简单介绍一个价格便宜的共享存储建立的解决方案

硬件：
两块scsi卡，一块scsi硬盘，二手货一共价格不到2k

scsi卡安装在两台服务器内，scsi硬盘安装在其中一台服务器内，通过scsi线连接到scsi卡在机箱内部的插口里。在两台服务器之间，用scsi连接线连接两个scsi卡的外部接口即可。

启动的时候，进一下scsi卡的bios，看看两台服务器硬盘的id是不是不一样，如果一样，更改一下scsi硬盘的id即可。

这样即可构建一个最简单的共享存储系统了。

这样也行?

好象很多 软件不支持这样的方式吧?

RHCS 的手册上说不支持这种的.

好象叫什么 multi-initiator 吧. 我也不太懂, 没真用过.

还请多多指教.

呵呵，就我测试的ha产品而言，包括lifekeeper, rsf, vcs, rhcs,还没有不支持这种连接方式的呢。

问题的关键是你内部的scsi连接线需要个终结器(terminator)，另外一个空着的scsi卡也需要，这样就可以了

当然这只是个测试的方案，不推荐在业务中用

A multi-initiator SCSI bus or Fibre Channel interconnect has more than one cluster system connected to it. RAID controllers with a single host port and parallel SCSI disks must use a multi-initiator bus or interconnect to connect the two host bus adapters to the storage enclosure. This configuration provides no host isolation. Therefore, only development environments should use multi-initiator buses.

A single-initiator SCSI bus or Fibre Channel interconnect has only one cluster system connected to it, and provides host isolation and better performance than a multi-initiator bus. Single-initiator buses or interconnects ensure that each cluster system is protected from disruptions due to the workload, initialization, or repair of the other cluster system.

这个方法可行，我们还在用。

不过，似乎用vmware，这个SCSI盘和卡都省了。岂不是又省了。

vmware可以帮助测试 HA cluster的软件部分的部署，但是在模拟故障的时候，模拟scope不完整.

比如现实中最常见的path failover就没有办法做到.
