利用BROCADE的干线合并技术。\r\n\r\n两台2GB的光纤交换机通过E-PORT连接:叫做ISL。\r\n\r\n8GB带宽就是两个交换机通过4条ISL进行连接(四条物理连接),但是通过BROCADE的干线合并(TRUNKING)技术在逻辑上可以看作一条链路,并且实现了ISL间的负载均衡。\r\n\r\n\r\nBrocade Interswitch Link (ISL) Trunking is an optionally licensed product available on the\r\nSilkWorm 3000 series switches with Fabric OS version 3.0. Brocade ISL Trunking is managed\r\nusing telnet commands or the Brocade Web Tools interface.\r\nThe Brocade ISL Trunking feature allows up to four ISLs, connections between two switches\r\nthrough an Expansion Port (E_Port), to merge logically into a single link. When using Brocade ISL\r\nTrunking to aggregate bandwidth of up to four ports, the speed of the ISLs between switches in a\r\nfabric is quadrupled. For example, at 2 Gb/Sec speeds, Brocade ISL Trunking delivers ISL\r\nthroughput of up to 8 Gb/Sec.\r\nBrocade ISL Trunking also supports high-bandwidth, large-scale Storage Area Networks (SANs)\r\nwhich include core switches. The primary task of Brocade ISL Trunking is to route data and edge\r\nswitches that aggregate connections to servers and storage. Brocade ISL Trunking simplifies\r\nnetwork design and reduces the cost of storage management by optimizing bandwidth utilization\r\nand enabling load sharing of traffic at the frame-level. |
