Position Description:
We are seeking (Senior) SW Program Managers in Nokia Mobile Phones FPD Beijing and Oulu. You will be responsible for the SW project management in relation to our S40 SW Programs.
You will work with some of the hottest mobile technologies on the market and join a highly motivated team to build mobile phone SW for the S40 SW products.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will comprise:
Leading SW product contribution to the Nokia business
Designing and implementing great consumer experiences through delivery of independent SW products
Leading break through SW programs
Accountability for timely delivery, quality and end-to-end consumer experience for the assigned SW Program
Contributing to and influencing the direction, policy and strategy of the SW organization
Determining operational framework for the SW program
Making final decisions on operational matters
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has strong experience in SW management and a degree in Computer science, Electrical Engineering or similar as well as 10+ years of relevant experience in the SW domain. We expect a recognized professional with the following attributes:
Courage and will to develop in this direction
Strong leadership and management skills
5+ years proven track record in business and technical leadership in complex, global organizations and diverse business environment
Experience in and understanding of mobile and internet consumer experiences and value chains
Experience in transforming a technology-focused business into a consumer-focused mindset
Solid track record in seeking and identifying efficiency gains
Proven ability to influence others and drive new ideas forward in a large organization
Understanding of and desire to lead Software as product
Fluency in both written and spoken English
Natural openness to new ideas
Strong analytical ability to master cutting through to the heart of a situation and ensuring the right results in time
Independent way of working and believe that an open, honest dialogue ensures the best results
