unixware 7.1.1中激活双CPU的问题

因数据库问题，本人重装了服务器的unixware 7.1.1企业版操作系统，也加上了OSMP包。可在加CPU的license时，输入正确的License number、code和data后，出现的是0 additional CPUS的License信息(正常应是1 additional CPUS)，第二个CPU也无法激活，不知问题出在哪里，请各位高手指正。

你安装是输入的license如果是企业版的，默认支持4个cpu了，不需要再添加cpu的license了。
用psrinfo看看有几个cpu是激活的。

不好意思，我的Unixware 是Business Edition，不是企业版。

你的OSMP是安装完操作系统后加的吗？
很奇怪的是，SCO UW2才有这个问题，就是事后安装OSMP无法enable附加的CPU
你的是7.1.1，按说这个问题在这个版本上是已经解决了的
我这里有UW2的解决办法，如果你不想重新安装，参考一下：
注意： 里面说的update212补丁在7.1.1应该没有的，可以忽略

1. Remove the software packages:


            # pkgrm ptfibmmpc ptfcpqw ptfcrid ptfcled ptfcultra ptfidamnu \
            ptfcnet ptfcpqnf2 osmp update212


Note: The removal script for the update212 package will fail with the error message:

            Error: cannot restore files because they have been replaced by
            another package.  Cannot remove UnixWare Update 2.1.2.


To recover from this error, manually remove the remaining update212 files:

            # rm -rf /var/sadm/pkg/update212


2. Remove the update211 package:

            # pkgrm update211


The kernel will relink and the system will reboot automatically.
3. Place the 'UnixWare From Compaq' CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive and install the osmp and update211 packages.

Note: In the 'Choose Platform Support Module' window, select 'Compaq Systempro' for Systempro family platforms only. Select the default 'Intel MP Specification' for all other Compaq models.

Note: The example CD-ROM device node may not be the same depending on the hardware configuration. If unsure of what device node should be used, list the contents of the /dev/cdrom directory and use the entry that appears there.


            # pkgadd -d /dev/cdrom/c1b0t0l0 osmp update211


4. Install the update212 package:

            # pkgadd -d /dev/cdrom/c1b0t0l0 update212


5. Install the remaining packages, relink the kernel and reboot the computer:

     # pkgadd -d /dev/cdrom/c1b0t0l0 ptfibmmpc ptfcled ptfcultra ptfidamnu \
     ptfcrid ptfcnet ptfcpqnf2 ptfcpqw
     # /etc/conf/bin/idbuild -B
     # shutdown -g0 -y -i6

711也存在后装OSMP包而无法激活第二个或更多个cpu的问题。
如果CNL的方法不能解决你的问题，就只能重装。
注意：
1。如果你的机器的cpu频率大于1G，请下载ptf7619d的最新安装盘，用软盘启动安装
2。在安装时，选择osmp包

我已经重装过3次操作系统了，安装时全选了core system ，OSMP包是安装时自动装上的。手工卸载了再装也不行。
用版主所说的uw2解决方法好象不行，包名都不存在。

刚才才看到你的版本，换企业版吧，business版本可能只能支持1CPU

我原来的系统的是能用的，只是重装时问题，所以不是版本的问题。

是啊，business版也应该可以加OSMP的，
检查一下BIOS里面能否看到2个CPU吧，看看第2个是否没有enable
# /etc/conf/bin/idtype
