There is an oracle DBA position from a famous France IT company,following is job description,we'll provide competitive package for you.

This position will develop, maintain and support databases . List of key responsibilities as follow:

- To work with development team extensively, and provide assistance on any Oracle (other DB) issues that may arise.

- To provide guidance and advice on best practice for SQL development

-To do data modeling (Logical and Physical)and architecture

- To responsible for DB maintenance (including, install, disk plan, journal, backup, recover, healthy check, upgrades, monitoring, data migration, and etc).

-To provide assistance in all areas of performance, including performance/load testing, SQL and Code tuning.

-To produce internal and external delivery/maintenance scripts for all databases, help design and develop tools when needed.

-Interface with Oracle Corp. or other DBMS Corp. for technical support

-To explore new developments and technologies for Oracle and determine the likely affect to our development environment.

-To provide assistance on UNIX and Linux System Administration.

-Participate in establishing and maintaining sound backup and recovery policies and procedures

-Setup and maintain database documentation and standards

-Work as part of a team and provide 7x24 support when required

-Others task related



Requirements:

It requires database knowledge with significant expertise in Data Modeling, Data Architecture and Database support experience. Detailed requirement as below:

-Bachelor degree in CS or above

-Min 2 years experience on DBA

-Experienced with Data Architecture and Data Modeling, and Power-Designer.

-Solid knowledge with Oracle

-Good understanding of the Oracle, related utilities and tools

-Good understanding of Oracle internals and Concepts

-Good understanding of PL/SQL, Triggers, procedure, and etc

-Hand on skill on DB/SQL performance tuning

-Expertise in UNIX system administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, and automation.

-Solid scripting and fluency in at least one scripting/coding language, such as Shell, Ants.

-Solid knowledge to perform both Oracle and operation system performance tuning and monitoring

-Good team spirit, be able to work under high pressure, able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities

-Good written and spoken English

-Good written and verbal communications

Desirable/preferred Skills

-Professional Java/C++ programming experience preferred

-Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle

-Experience with Ingres or other DBMS is a plus

-OCP holder is in advantage
