why does Control number change?

Under solaris 9, when I did a format, and found two disks , which are c0t0d0 and c0t1d0.

While underway of upgrade from solairs 9 to solaris 10, the installer program detects that there are solaris 9 installed under both c1t0d0s0 and c1t1d0s0.

Why did the controller number change from 0 to 1?

The box is SunFire v480

may be some device changed .
for example , when you install sol9 ,there is no cdrom, but when you install , cdrom att:wink: ached. cdrom priority!!!
