Job Summary
Responsible for the administration of the Jobs scheduling systems, production control, statistics collection/trend analysis, and computer operation automation in the Data Centre.
Job Duties
1. Liaises with application teams to handle service requests and coordinates the automation of batch processing using BMC:Control-M, CA:AutoSys and FAQS/PCS.
2. Performs products upgrade, evaluation on systems management tools and operation automation processes as part of the improvement initiatives to enhance the operation efficiency for the Centre.
3. Plans and co-ordinates system preparation to ensure smooth commissioning of operations support to existing or new systems.
4. Trouble-shoot and resolves errors for daily operations and maintains log for errors and delays.
5. Develops, implements and maintains relevant operational controls to ensure reliability of production control functions
6. Ensures compliance to Company's policies and procedures.
Requirement:
1. Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Computer Studies or related discipline.
2. Technical Experience:
- Knowledge of Unix Operating System and Shell Scripts programming language is a must.
- Familiar with BMC: Control-M job scheduling system.
- Knowledge of CA: AutoSys and FAQS/PCS job scheduling systems will be an added advantage.
3. Skills Required:
- Project Management Methodology
- Good trouble shooting and analytical skills
- Documentation of Procedures
- Operations minded with information security Awareness
4. Ability to speak Mandarin as this person will be required to serve the China market |
