Role and Responsibilities:  
This position is responsible for helping to plan, design, develop, andtest software systems or applications for software enhancements and newproducts. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work andgeneral instructions on new assignments. Candidates should demonstrategood judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtainingsolutions. Accountable for the quality of own work, delivered withinagreed procedures and timeframes. Works independently within definedparameters, taking ownership of problems within own area of knowledge.Makes recommendations for process improvements to immediate manager.
•        Responsible for software design and coding, developing applications per written specifications.  
•        Responsible for software testing and debugging.  
•        Responsible for participating in project planning sessions wth team members to analyze development requirements.  
•        Responsible for translating technical requirements into application code and modules.  
•        Responsible for making modifications to existing software applications and modules.  
•        Responsible for unit testing.  
•        Responsible for providing accurate work estimates and aiding in the preparation of status updates for projects.  
•        Responsible for producing technical documentation, which may include basic design specifications.  
•        Responsible for taking part in reviews of own work as well as in reviews of the work of colleagues.  
•        Responsible for verbally communicating with colleagues both within and outside of the product development department.

Qualifications  
Education:  
Bachelor's degree or above  
Required Skills, Necessary industry Experience & associated number of years of experience :  
•        3+ years of C# experience  
•        3+ years of Windows Forms development  
•        3+ years of ASP.NET development  
•        Strong knowledge of the Base Class Library  
•        Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming  
•        Strong knowledge of web service consumption models  
•        Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, HTML, CSS  
•        Strong knowledge of ADO.NET  
•        Strong knowledge of documenting technical specifications  
•        Experience with smart client technologies preferred  
•        Experience with .NET 2.0/3.5 features  
•        Strong knowledge of building multi-lingual applications  
•        Experience with using Oracle as a backend preferred  
•        Experience with File I/O operations in .NET  
•        Experience with Visual Studio 2005/2008  
Desired Skills, Necessary industry Experience & associated number of years of experience:  
•        Experience with major third ** components preferred  
•        Must be a self-starter
