Senior Unix Admin
3-5年的UNIX系统管理经验,4年Linux系统管理经验，有Perl或者shell、J2EE或者JBoss的开发经验。。
Daily responsibilities include
1) Support the Tech Ops project team
a. Work with the NOC to provision DEV/QA and PE environments
b. Configure and deploy 3rd party apps to the dev/qa/pe envs
c. Deploy stubhub code to the envs
d. Assist with dev/qa and larger project team to troubleshoot environment related issues
2) Play an active role as a member of the project team
a. Attend project meetings as needed
b. Assist the team with documentation
c. Act as TechOps point for all DEV/QA?PE environments as they relate to projects being worked by CDC
3) Assist techOps with documentation and automation of the Sacramento build out process
Essential Job Functions:
1. 3-5 years UNIX Systems Administration experience.
2. 2+ years in a 24/7/365 high-volume environment.
3. 4 years of Linux Systems Administration experience.
4. Experience with highly available solutions / architectures.
5. Candidate MUST have experience working in a structured change management processes for highly available Web facing environment.
6. Previous experience Managing e-commerce related sites, and/or On- demand services.
7. Experience building and configuring major Internet host/network services including but not limited to: Web (http, SSL, etc.), Mail (Sendmail, etc.), DNS, NFS, Databases (Oracle, etc.) and Java.
8. Some Networking Experience - TCP/IP, Load Balancing.
9. Perl and/or Shell scripting.
10. J2EE / JBoss experience.
11. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
12. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills conducive to team development.
13. Ability to perform needs assessment and handle technical objections. Desired Skills:
14. Strong experience working in high-volume, terabyte-sized OLTP environment.
15. Experience with the administration of networking hardware (Cisco, Foundry, etc.) and/or Network Systems monitoring |
