你登陸不了可能是因爲你防火墻級別設置的太高，記住設置成No firewall
還用因爲telnet 傳送數據是明文，所以很不安全建議不要使用，應該換
ssh作爲遠程維護的服務

to check the telnet is enabled or disabled, just type:
# chkconfig telnet --list

to enable the telnet, just type:
# chkconfig telnet on

by the way, "telnet" use clear text for password transaction, for security reason, please use "ssh" to instead.

you can download the linuxconf and installed it manually, but try it as your own risk:

because "linuxconf" was buggy, so that many people use another great controlling system to instead - its called "webmin".
