在Linux添加硬盘的时候发现的问题，请高手帮忙看看！

我通过虚拟机在RH9中挂载两块硬盘。准备实现RAID-1，两块硬盘的总容量都是8G。
但是系统识别的时候出现的问题如下：
红色的部分是总容量，hdb和hdd的总容量一致，
蓝色的部分是磁头柱面和磁道数，为什么就不一样了？
在这种情况下，如果我对两个磁盘都进行分区，如果同样是1到261柱面，则分区之后第一个区的空间大小肯定不同。请高手解释一下这个原因，另外我应该怎样计算才能使分区大小一样？谢谢！
