运行squid，会在几分钟出现frequent failures

我在solaris8下面安装了一个squid-2.3.STABLE3，然后参照精华里的帖子配置好squid.conf，但是每次运行squid，都会出现

不知道大家在linux下有没有遇到这个问题？

your hostname got problem : 'cq_cfc_cacheserver'

vi your /etc/hosts
try use '-' instead : 'cq-cfc-cacheserver'

platinum

try use '-' instead : 'cq-cfc-cacheserver'

为什么？而且为什么是“-”？

对了，我注释掉visible_hostname就正常了

"_" defind as illegal character in DNS RFC, so normally u can't see any "_" internet domain and hostname, just like you can't see anybody use " in their email addresss. in fact some people do use "_" in their domain / hostname, their might not notis the problem in short term.  

RFC is the standard for every internet developer to follow so will not cause "stardard" overflow.
