The Real-Time Market Data Integrations team integrates applications which disseminate market data that comes into the firm. The focus is on system integration of highly available systems that can process large quantities of data with very low latency. These systems carry all real-time data such as stock prices, index values, option prices, and fixed income instruments.

Skills Required
-Proficient C++ developer comfortable with the STL and multi-threaded programming with a variety of compilers and platforms
- Experiences in solving complex problems within computation
- Knowledge in building reusable code
- Good communication skills
- Experience working with colleagues in remote locations
- Experience with multi-tier distributed applications design and development
- Good knowledge of XML and XSLT
- DB experience with Sybase

1-3 years C++ software development experience, preferably in financial institutions

Good knowledge of database (Sybase preferred)

Experience in Unix/Linux development environment

Scripting language preferred but not required

The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of software development including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong C++, experience in large scale real-time systems, deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms, problem solving skills, and good communication skills. Knowledge of financial systems and technologies (e.g. FIX protocol) is a plus.

-Junior to Intermediate Level / 3-5 years.

-Working knowledge of scripting languages (e..g, Perl/Shell)
